That's what a few seem to believe.  It's being talked about that if Gaborik and the Wild can't come to a contract agreement during this season, and the enigmatic forward is allowed to become an unrestricted free agent, he may just take the advice of a good friend.  Pavol Demitra, who played the last few seasons in Minnesota before jumping to Vancouver this past offseason, has been talking up the Vancouver system and how great it is to play in.  It just so happens that he and Gaborik are good friends.  Demitra's influence may place the Canucks in the driver's seat on landing Gaborik if he does enter free agency.  We'll just have to wait and see.
